by P01-CSIC-Jordi Martínez last modified 2012-05-17 17:30

Scientifically organized by the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (Italy) and logistically supported by the Direction Générale de la Recherche Scientifique et Technique (Tunisia), this MIRA seminar met different Tunisian trainees on the basis of their CVs and their interest in creating a network in Tunisia, which aimed at improving the participation of Tunisian researchers and experts in the 7FP (2007-2013) by implementing a Tunisian IP.

This MIRA Training Seminar, held in Tunis last 11-12 May 2009, aimed at training the Tunisian experts who will be able to duly inform on the FP7 opportunities; support the scientific community to submit FP7 project proposals; provide feedback to the Euro-Med scientific community, the National Authorities, and to the Monitoring Committee for Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in S&T; and favour the networking with other Information Points.

The Seminar developed very well and the trainees were very interested in both speeches and exercises. Some of them took part in the initiative for officers of MPC IP organized in El Gouna (Egypt, 18-20 July 2009).
