Objectives
WP1, as Internal Coordination Platform, has to follow the activities of the rest of WPs and provide the necessary coordination of activities and their synergies to obtain the maximum yield from the limited resources.
This WP has to deal with the interaction with the external actors, other related projects, such as the other INCO.Nets and, finally but no less important, the BILAT Projects of the Mediterranean Area. Moreover, this WP together with WP 6 will try to monitor the Impact of MIRA in the international scenario of scientific cooperation within the partners of the UfM.
- Creation and maintaining of the ICT tools.
- Setting of the technical platforms based on ICT tools to foster the dialogue of stakeholder at technical and political level in the different WPs.
- Guarantee the connexion with the EC and other projects where a common interest exists
- Follow the Impact of MIRA
Description
The first main task is related to Internal Communication management, and the related activities are:
- the design, creation and maintenance of the internal communication management by means of a Community of Practice (CoP) platform based on INTERNET, open to the participation of all interested parties: partners, MoCo members, and authorized stakeholders, to support the general management of MIRA. The CoP includes the creation of the Discussion Plaform with different Fora on the issues related to the improvement of the Euro-Mediterraean S&T cooperation.

The second main task is the creation of a library of relevant studies and information of the S&T activities of cooperation MPC-MS, and the main activity is the regular update of information and connection with running and past research projects.
The third main task is supporting the Syrian participation in the MPC cooperation in S&T. Activities:
- Providing financial and logistic support to the participation of Syrian stakeholders in the activities of MIRA. Up to now, several Syrian scientists have beneficiated of this support to attend the Thematic Workshops organized in WP 4, and a visit to the Syrian Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Research has been organized. Please find also a brief description of the topics treated in the interviews with the RTD political responsibles of Syria and the Palestinian Authority, about their participation in MIRA.
The fourth main task is the promotion and Coordination of Working Groups on thematic priorities of the Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPC) endorsed by the MoCo according to available resources.
The fifth task is the participation as a coordination team in the International Learning Network (ILN), organized by Directorate INCO of DG RTD, with connections with the other INCO.Nets Projects and the BILAT Projects of Mediterranean Countries. The main activity is to assist and contribute to the Meetings of the ILN.
Organisation and attendance to regular Meetings of the INCO.Nets Coordinators and Administrators. This new activity is a result of the maturing of the INCO.Nets new projects within FP7 and the need to coordinate their activities with other INCO instruments such as the BILAT and other relevant projects for the Mediterranean Area.
Several subtasks are:
- the creation of a Coordination Platform with the Med-BILATs Projects. Activities: This subtask will provide the technical platform to coordinate the activities of all the Work Packages of MIRA with the foreseen activities of the BILAT Projects. A specific activity of this subtask will be the identification of difficulties for S&T&D cooperation jointly with the Med-BILAT Projects.
- Creation of a Coordination Platform with related INCO.Nets, notably CAAST.Net, GCC.Net, WBC.Net, EULARINET, and EECA.

Besides the regular meetings of experiences exchanges organized within the ILN, some activities could be organized jointly by two or more INCO.Nets. This subtask will explore these possible actions and will propose its implementation to the different WPs.
